Zaion is now present in 3 European countries and has over 50 key account customers. Our headquarters are located in Paris and our team is made up of 65 talents. In order to support Zaion's ever-increasing ambitions, we are currently looking for our next Sales Development Representative superstar as we wouldn’t be European leaders on the conversational bot market without our outstanding sales team.

Equipped with well-researched information about target prospects, as our future SDR you already have a great overall understanding of the tech sales processes and are willing to build an even more solid expertise on the pertinence of our solutions within different verticals. As a result, you shall spend much of your time reaching out to potential clients through the early stages of the sales funnel - either preparing prospects to speak with a closer (Senior Account Executive) or screening their true intention to buy.


As the first line of communication with prospects, you have a strong understanding of key techniques of researching leads, starting new relationships, and setting our sales closers up for success. You are a quick learner with strong communication skills and have the ability to showcase our complex offerings in a compelling way.


Objectives of this Role


  • Represent our company’s complex SaaS offerings starting with a comprehensive understanding and leading to consumer research to identify how our solutions meet needs.
  • Manage an existing pipeline of interested prospects and engage sales executives for next steps.
  • Generate leads and build relationships by nurturing warm prospects and finding new potential sales outlets. Utilize SalesForce, cold calling, social media and email to generate new sales opportunities.
  • Identify best practices to refine the company’s lead generation playbook and proactively seek new business opportunities in the market.
  • Operational transversal marketing missions such as preparing the logistics behind our webinars and networking events.
  • Set up meetings or calls between (prospective) customers and sales executives.
  • Report to our Sales Director with weekly, monthly and quarterly results.

Description du profil

On your end, you:


  • Have prior 2-3 years hands-on experience as a Saas sales development rep and a track record of achieving sales quotes in dynamic, fast-paced environments.
  • Are perfectly fluent/native French speaker with a decent level of English (a third language such as German or Spanish would represent a great plus). Keep in mind that your efforts will help us extend our global reach and impact.
  • Have strong communication skills via phone, social media and email. Moreover, you have a perfectly polished personality and excellent people skills and do know how to spark meaningful conversations !
  • Are digitally savvy with a good understanding of customer relationship and AI.
  • Have a proven creative problem-solving approach and strong analytical skills.
  • Have a strong desire and ability to move up within a sales organization.
  • Great plus : automation, growth hacking experience.
